Say hello to Brecht Steukers, Lytix’s newest team member! With a background in enterprise information management consulting and a passion for BI and data, Brecht was drawn to Lytix’s flexibility and tight-knit group dynamic. When he’s not crunching data, you can find him hiking in the Austrian Alps and taking in the breathtaking views.

Why did you choose Lytix?

I chose Lytix because it ticked all the boxes for me! I love the flexibility it offers, I don’t feel tied down to one location or schedule. I also appreciate the company’s group dynamic, as it’s a relatively small organization where everyone knows each other, and there’s a relatively informal atmosphere. Moreover, as someone with a keen interest in BI and data, I saw Lytix as an opportunity to work with like-minded individuals in a field that I’m passionate about.

What did you de before Lytix?

Prior to joining Lytix, I worked as an enterprise information management consultant, where I gained my first work experience. I worked with Content server, an Opentext product, and had a chance to interact with clients, which helped me understand the importance of customer service. Additionally, working in that environment gave me a solid foundation for understanding corporate culture.

What is your ideal getaway?

My ideal getaway is all about getting back to nature and disconnecting from the stresses of everyday life. I love hiking in the mountains, especially the beautiful alpine scenery of Austria. There’s something so special about being up high in the mountains, surrounded by nothing but fresh air and stunning views. It’s the perfect way to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life and fully unwind with only the sound of nature itself.
