Meet Kristijan, our latest addition who’s all about Data Analytics and Consultancy! With loads of experience, he brings professionalism and innovation to the team. We had a quick Q&A to get to know him a bit better. Check out his story below and let’s welcome Kristijan together!

Why did you choose Lytix?

I decided Lytix and Intellus Group is the best destination for me because I have heard great and positive things about the company. It has a well-established reputation on the market and everybody that I have met is nice and sensible. In addition, I would like to stay in the world of Data Analytics and Consultancy because in this environment I will excel and learn a lot, bring value to various companies, and build many connections.

What did you do before Lytix?

My educational background is Computer Science in University of Ljubljana and KU Leuven.
I have worked in a company that is setting up plenty of IoT sensors in various assets, such as wind turbines, roads, industrial machines etc. and doing a lot with the data gathered from them: predictive maintenance, reporting, insights, alerts, forecasts etc.
My second work experience is in a consultancy where I have considerably strengthened my Microsoft Azure competences in designing and deploying resources, Data Engineering, Data Science, DevOps, and internal and external trainings.

How does a perfect weekend look like to you?

Depending on the circumstances, productively rest or vigorously travel and discover the world and enjoy life in either case.
A regular (but still perfect) weekend includes finding enough time to rest and have a good night sleep, be active and do sports, spend time with family, socialize, discover new places and travel and do some personal hobbies. The hobbies I mostly do when recovering from sports are Rubiks cubes of various shapes and chess. They have captivated me over the years and have kept my mind sharp and fulfilled.
