Welcome Marte De Jonghe!

Introducing Marte De Jonghe, our newest colleague at Lytix, who joined us last week. She discovered Lytix through an Intellus Student drink in Ghent, drawn in by our atmosphere and her AI background. Marte holds a Master’s in Audiology from KU Leuven and an advanced Master’s in AI, specializing in Speech and Language technologies. We are happy to have Marte in our Lytix team!

Why did you choose Lytix? 

Last year in March, I decided to join the Student Drink of Intellus Group in Ghent. I was curious about the work philosophy and I thought a student drink would be the ideal occasion to gain more information. I am really glad I made this choice, because the friendly atmosphere really convinced me to stay in touch. That, together with my background in AI and interest in Data Science, led me to Lytix. And well…here I am now 😊

What did you do before Lytix? 

After finishing a Master’s degree in Audiology at KU Leuven, I decided to join the advanced Master’s program (MANAMA) in Artificial Intelligence. More specifically, I chose the option of Speech and Language technologies.

What’s a place on your travel bucket list that you haven’t visited yet?

There are so many places I still want to visit but for my next trip, I hope to rent a van and road trip through Canada or New Zealand.  If for any reason that’s not possible, any country with beautiful nature would do!
